Destiny Carter is an American track and field athlete born on October 9, 1992. She competes in a variety of sprint and jumping events, establishing herself as a versatile performer on the national athletics scene. Her breakthrough came when she finished as runner-up at the 2018 USA Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 60 meters.

Carter's career began at Danville High School in Illinois, where she won the state championship in the 400 meters during her junior year. After a hiatus from the sport, she returned to competition at Iowa Central Community College, leading her relay team to victory at the 2015 NJCAA Championships. She later transferred to the University of Kentucky, where she anchored the winning 4x100 meters relay team at the 2017 NCAA Championships. That same year, she placed eighth in the long jump at the USA Outdoor Championships.

Her second-place finish at the 2018 USA Indoor Championships earned her selection to represent the United States at the World Indoor Championships.
