Her personal best of 80.31 m, set at the 2021 US Olympic Trials, stands as the American record and ranked her as the third-best women's thrower in history at the time. A former Southern Illinois University athlete, Price also broke the women's world record in the indoor 25-pound weight throw in February 2021, surpassing the previous mark set by Gwen Berry in 2017.
