Bryan Mcbride

Bryan McBride is an American high jumper born on December 10, 1991, in Long Beach, California. He has achieved national-level success in the event, winning the 2017 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a clearance of 2.30 metres, matching his personal best.

McBride was runner-up at the 2016 USA Indoor Championships, demonstrating his consistency at the national level. His exuberant celebration after winning the 2017 outdoor title, running halfway down the football field at Hornet Stadium, was captured on NBC's television coverage and showcased his passion for the sport.

Since 2016, McBride has served as a coach at Cuyamaca College, teaching long jump, triple jump, and high jump. His transition from national champion to collegiate coach allows him to share his expertise with developing athletes while continuing to contribute to American track and field.
