Peninah Chepchumba

Peninah Chepchumba is a Kenya middle-distance runner, born on January 14, 1985. She competes primarily in the 1500m, 3000m and 5000m.

Her personal bests include 4:15.35 in the 1500m, 8:40.12 in the 3000m, 15:00.26 in the 5000m, 32:50.37 in the 10000m and 1:15:13 in the Semi. She has earned 2 gold and 2 silver medals in major international competitions. She is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Kenya.
