
Arthur Cissé
Arthur Gue Cisse is an Ivorian professional sprinter born on December 29, 1996, in Man, Ivory Coast. Standing 168 cm tall, he owns the Ivorian national records in the 60 metres, 100 metres, 150 metres, and 200 metres, including a sub-10 second time of 9.93 seconds in the 100 metres.
Cisse has won numerous international medals including gold in the 2015 African Games 4x100 metres relay and silver at the 2018 African Championships in the 100 metres. He became the 131st man to break the 10-second barrier on June 16, 2018, setting a national record of 9.94 seconds. He is coached by Anthony Koffi, who also coaches fellow Ivorian Olympians Ben Youssef Meite and Marie-Josee Ta Lou.
As a sub-10 sprinter and multiple national record holder, Cisse represents the pinnacle of Ivorian sprinting. His collection of national records across all sprint distances establishes him as one of the fastest men in African sprinting history.
