Yohan Blake is a Jamaican sprinter specializing in the 100 m and 200 m events. He became the youngest ever 100 m World Champion when he won gold at the 2011 World Athletics Championships, and he went on to claim silver medals in both the 100 m and 200 m at the 2012 London Olympics, finishing behind training partner Usain Bolt in each race.

Blake is the joint second fastest man ever in the 100 m, sharing a personal best of 9.69 seconds with Tyson Gay, and is the second fastest of all time over 200 m with a personal best of 19.26 seconds. Only Usain Bolt has run faster at both distances. His Olympic silver-medal times of 9.75 in the 100 m and 19.44 in the 200 m are the fastest ever recorded for a second-place finish.

Blake held the Jamaican national junior record for the 100 m and was the youngest sprinter to break the 10-second barrier at 19 years and 196 days old. He trained under coach Glen Mills until 2019 alongside Bolt and Daniel Bailey, and is considered one of the finest sprinters of all time.
