Quincy Watts

Quincy Watts is an American former sprinter born on June 19, 1970, in Detroit, Michigan. Standing 190 cm and weighing 88 kg, he won two gold medals at the 1992 Barcelona Summer Olympics in the 400 metres and 4x400 metre relay.

Watts's Olympic double in Barcelona established him as one of the premier quarter-milers of 1992. His victories in both individual and relay events demonstrated the speed and endurance combination required for success at 400 metres.

He was associated with USC Trojans football, highlighting the athletic versatility that allowed him to reach the pinnacle of Olympic sprinting. His two Olympic gold medals remain among the finest achievements in American 400-metre history.
