Masai Russell is an American sprinter and hurdler born on June 17, 2000, in Washington, D.C. Standing 163 cm tall, she specializes in the 100 metres hurdles and has rapidly ascended to the top of her discipline through a combination of speed, technical precision, and competitive composure.

Russell won the gold medal in the 100 metres hurdles at the 2024 Summer Olympics, cementing her place among the elite hurdlers of her generation. She holds the American record in the event with a personal best of 12.17 seconds, the second-fastest time ever recorded. She is also the NCAA record holder in the 100 metres hurdles.
