Marc Burns is a track and field sprinter from Trinidad and Tobago born on January 7, 1983, in Port of Spain, who specializes in the 100 metres and 4x100 metres relay. He is an Olympic gold medalist, having been part of the Trinidad and Tobago relay team that was elevated to first place at the 2008 Beijing Olympics after Jamaica's disqualification.

Burns has enjoyed a decorated career spanning multiple Olympic Games and World Championships. At the 2008 Beijing Olympics, he reached the 100m final finishing seventh in 10.01 seconds, while also running in the relay qualifying round where Trinidad and Tobago set the fastest time of 38.26 seconds. He won a silver medal at the 2005 World Championships in the 4x100m relay and claimed the World Athletics Final title that same year. He also won bronze in the 100m at the 2006 Commonwealth Games.

At the 2012 Summer Olympics, Burns helped Trinidad and Tobago win silver in the 4x100m relay, and he earned bronze at the 2014 Commonwealth Games. Coached by Henry Rolle throughout most of his professional career, Burns has been a cornerstone of Trinidad and Tobago's sprint relay excellence.
