Jason Rouser is a retired American sprinter born on March 22, 1970, in Tucson, Arizona. Standing 198 cm, he specialized in the 400 metres and achieved significant success in relay events at major international championships.
Rouser won gold medals in the 4x400 metres relay at both the 1993 and 1997 World Indoor Championships. At the 1993 World Indoor Championships, he also finished sixth individually in the 400 metres. His relay expertise made him a valuable member of American teams throughout the 1990s.
At the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, Rouser ran the second leg for the American 4x400 metre relay team that won the gold medal. His three major championship relay gold medals established him as one of the premier relay runners of his era.
