Danny McCray is an American former sprinter born on March 11, 1974. A Texas state championship winner at Ellison High School, he became a six-time NCAA All-American at Texas A&M University, where he also played football as a wide receiver.

McCray won an NCAA championship in the 4x100 metres and reached the 400 metres final at the 1997 Summer Universiade. In 1999, he won a silver medal in the 400 metres at the Pan American Games in Winnipeg and ran in the heats of the 4x400 metres for the U.S. team at the World Championships in Seville.

His versatility as both a sprinter and football player showcased exceptional athletic ability. McCray served as an alternate for the 2000 Sydney Olympics, capping a career that saw him compete at the highest levels of both collegiate and international athletics.
