Brooke Andersen

Brooke Andersen, born on 23 August 1995 in Vista, California, is an American track and field athlete who specializes in the hammer throw. She has established herself as one of the greatest hammer throwers in history, with her personal best of 80.17 m, set on 20 May 2023 in Tucson, Arizona, ranking her fourth on the all-time list. She also holds a personal best of 25.07 m in the weight throw.

Andersen's crowning achievement came on 17 July 2022 at the World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon, where she won the gold medal with a throw of 78.96 m.
