Bangchao Ding

Ding Bangchao is a Chinese pole vaulter born on October 11, 1996. He has represented China at the World Championships and is an Asian champion in the event, establishing himself as one of Asia's premier pole vaulters.

Ding won gold at the 2017 Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar, India. He represented China at the 2019 World Championships in Doha, though he did not qualify for the final. His personal bests are 5.71 metres outdoors, set in Zhaoqing in 2019, and 5.60 metres indoors, set in Xi'an in 2019.

As an Asian champion and World Championships competitor, Ding represents Chinese excellence in the pole vault. His personal bests place him among the top pole vaulters in Asian athletics history.
