Mark Hollis

Mark Hollis is an American pole vaulter born on December 1, 1984, in Freeport, New York. His personal best of 5.83 metres, set in 2014, ranked him second in the world that season.

Hollis is a three-time national champion, winning the outdoor title in 2010 and indoor championships in 2011 and 2014. He finished third at the 2014 IAAF Continental Cup and represented the United States at the 2011 World Championships in Athletics.

His consistency at the national level and international success established Hollis among America's premier pole vaulters during the 2010s. His world number two ranking in 2014 demonstrated his ability to compete at the highest level of the event.
