Hollis Conway is an American track and field high jumper born on January 8, 1967, in Chicago, Illinois. Standing 183 cm and weighing 68 kg, he became a two-time Olympic medalist and one of the most dominant American high jumpers of his era.

Conway was the top-ranked high jumper in the United States for seven consecutive years from 1988 to 1994, and held the world's number one ranking in 1990 and 1991. His Olympic medal collection places him in elite company alongside John Thomas and Dwight Stones as the only Americans to win two Olympic medals in the high jump. His sustained excellence at both national and international levels established him as a legendary figure in American track and field.

Following his competitive career, Conway transitioned into administrative and coaching roles. He has served as assistant director of Diversity, Leadership, and Education for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns football program and currently works as PARC Director for Lafayette Consolidated Government in Louisiana.
