
Duane Ross
Duane Ross is an American collegiate track and field coach and former hurdler born on December 5, 1972, in Shelby, North Carolina. He specialized in the 110 metres hurdles and is currently the Director of Track and Field programs at the University of Tennessee.
Ross won the bronze medal at the 1999 World Championships in Athletics and represented the United States at the 2004 Athens Olympics. As a collegiate athlete at Clemson University, he won the 1995 NCAA championship in the 110-metre hurdles and became a seven-time All-American and five-time ACC champion, making him Clemson's most decorated male hurdler.
His transition from World Championship medalist and Olympian to Division I program director demonstrates his comprehensive knowledge of the sport. Ross's coaching career continues his legacy of excellence in American hurdles.
