Bryce Hoppel

Bryce Hoppel is an American middle-distance runner born on September 5, 1997, in Midland, Texas. Standing 182 cm tall, he specializes in the 800 metres and has become one of the fastest men in history over the distance.

Hoppel is the 2024 World Indoor champion in the 800 metres, winning gold in Glasgow. He is also a seven-time U.S. champion and two-time NCAA champion over the distance. At the 2024 Summer Olympics, he set an American record of 1:41.67, making him the seventh fastest man and second fastest North American in 800m history.

As a World Indoor champion, American record holder, and seven-time national champion, Hoppel stands at the pinnacle of American middle-distance running.
