Ben True

Ben True is an American track and field and cross-country athlete born on December 29, 1985, in North Yarmouth, Maine. He competed for Dartmouth College and currently trains in Hanover, New Hampshire while competing for Saucony and In the Arena.

True was the top American finisher at both the 2011 and 2013 IAAF World Cross Country Championships, establishing himself as one of the country's premier cross-country runners. He was the 2011 USATF Road Running Circuit Champion, winning both the 5 km and 10 km Road Championships along the way.

His success across cross country and road racing demonstrates versatility in distance running. True's consistent performances at World Cross Country Championships and dominance on the American road racing circuit have made him one of the most accomplished distance runners from the northeastern United States.
