
Allen Johnson
Allen Johnson is an American former hurdler born on March 1, 1971, in Washington, D.C. Standing 178 cm and weighing 70 kg, he won the Olympic gold medal in the 110 metres hurdles at the 1996 Atlanta Games and is a four-time World Champion.
Johnson was an exceptional all-round athlete at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, excelling in high jump, long jump, and decathlon in addition to hurdles. He was the 1992 NCAA Indoor Champion in the 55-metre hurdles. His versatility contributed to his understanding of sprint mechanics that made him dominant in the hurdles.
