
Tim Harden
Tim Harden is an American former sprinter born on January 27, 1974, in Kansas City, Missouri. Standing 178 cm and weighing 77 kg, he specialized in the 100 metres and indoor 60 metres, winning the 2001 World Indoor Championship.
Harden graduated from Northeast High School in Kansas City and attended the University of Kentucky. He won the World Indoor Championship in 2001 and earned silver at the 1999 World Indoor Championships behind Maurice Greene. At the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, he won silver in the 4x100 metres relay alongside Jon Drummond, Michael Marsh, and Dennis Mitchell.
His personal best of 6.43 seconds in the 60 metres ranks him seventh all-time in the event. Harden's combination of Olympic relay success and World Indoor Championship victory establishes him as one of America's top sprinters of his era.
