Laulauga Tausaga

Laulauga Tausaga-Collins is an American discus thrower born on May 22, 1998, in Hawaii. She competes in the discus and has risen to become one of the world's best in the event.

Tausaga-Collins won the gold medal at the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest with a personal best throw of 69.49 metres, becoming the World Champion in discus. She also won gold at the 2022 NACAC Championships, demonstrating her regional dominance before ascending to the global title.

As a World Champion and NACAC gold medallist, Tausaga-Collins has established herself at the pinnacle of women's discus throwing. Her victory at the World Championships in Budapest cemented her status as one of the elite throwers in the world and a leading figure in American field events.
