Kibiwott Kandie

Kibiwott Kandie is a Kenyan long-distance runner born on 20 June 1996 who rose to prominence with outstanding performances in road running events. He is one of the fastest half marathon runners in the history of the sport.

In December 2020, Kandie won the Valencia Half Marathon in a time of 57 minutes and 32 seconds, breaking the previous world record by 29 seconds. This extraordinary performance established him as one of the premier road racers in the world.
