Genzebe Dibaba, born February 8, 1991, in Bekoji, Ethiopia, is an Ethiopian middle- and long-distance runner who holds world records in the indoor mile, indoor 3,000 meters, and indoor 5,000 meters. She comes from one of the most celebrated families in distance running, alongside her sisters Tirunesh and Ejegayehu Dibaba, and her cousin Derartu Tulu.

Dibaba won a gold medal in the 1,500 meters and a bronze in the 5,000 meters at the 2015 World Championships, and earned an Olympic silver medal in the 1,500 meters at the 2016 Rio Games. She is a five-time World Indoor champion, winning titles in the 1,500 meters and 3,000 meters between 2012 and 2018, including a 1,500m/3,000m double in 2018. She competed in every World Athletics Championships from 2009 to 2017, reaching the final in every event she entered.

A standout from a young age, Dibaba won two World Cross Country under-20 titles and the World U20 Championships 5,000-meter gold. She captured the 2015 Diamond League title and was named Laureus Sportswoman of the Year for 2014 and IAAF World Female Athlete of the Year in 2015.
