Dennis Mitchell

Dennis Mitchell is an American former sprinter born on February 20, 1966, in Havelock, North Carolina. Standing 175 cm and weighing 70 kg, he specialized in sprint events and became one of America's most successful relay runners of the early 1990s while competing for the Florida Gators.

Mitchell won an Olympic gold medal as a member of the United States 4x100 metre relay team at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. His relay expertise and individual speed made him a valuable contributor to American sprint teams throughout his international career.
