Courtney Hawkins

Courtney Hawkins is an American former hurdler born on July 11, 1967, in West Palm Beach, Florida. He specialized in sprint hurdles and earned medals at both the Pan American Games and World Indoor Championships in 1995.

Hawkins achieved personal bests of 13.17 seconds in the 110-metre hurdles and 7.41 seconds in the 60-metre hurdles. He won a national championship in the 60 metres hurdles at the 1996 USA Indoor Track and Field Championships, establishing himself among America's top sprint hurdlers.

His medal-winning performances at the 1995 Pan American Games and World Indoor Championships demonstrated his ability to compete at the highest international level. Hawkins's combination of speed and technical skill made him one of America's premier hurdlers during the mid-1990s.
