Brian Johnson is an American long jumper born on March 5, 1980, in Iowa, Louisiana. Standing 196 cm and weighing 91 kg, he was a 2003 NCAA indoor champion and competed at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Johnson won the 2006 U.S. outdoor long jump championship and was a two-time U.S. indoor champion in 2005 and 2006. His personal best of 8.33 metres ranked him among America's top jumpers. He earned a silver medal at the 2007 IAAF World Athletics Final and qualified for the 2008 Olympics by placing second at the U.S. Trials with an 8.30-metre jump.

At the Beijing Olympics, Johnson jumped 7.79 metres but fell short of qualifying for the final. He competed collegiately for the Southern Jaguars, where he won the 2003 NCAA indoor title. He now works as an assistant track and field coach at Southern University in Baton Rouge.
