Awet Habte Ghebrezghiabher is an Eritrean long-distance runner born on September 29, 1997. He competes in track events, cross country, and road racing, representing one of Africa's proud distance running nations.
Ghebrezghiabher finished seventh in the 5000 metres at the 2016 World U20 Championships and fourteenth in the 5000 metres at the 2017 World Championships, showing his ability at both junior and senior levels. He competed in the senior men's race at the 2019 IAAF World Cross Country Championships in Aarhus, Denmark, finishing 28th. His personal best times include 13:16.09 minutes in the 5000m and 28:18 minutes for a 10 kilometre road race.
