
Steve Holman
Steve Holman is a retired American middle-distance runner born on March 2, 1970, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Standing 186 cm and weighing 66 kg, he specialized in the 1500 metres and represented the United States at multiple major championships.
Holman competed at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics and represented his country at two indoor and two outdoor World Championships. He was coached at Georgetown University and throughout his professional career by Frank Gagliano, one of America's most respected distance running coaches.
His Olympic and World Championship appearances established Holman as one of America's top middle-distance runners during the 1990s. His dedication to the 1500 metres over multiple seasons demonstrated the commitment required for success in elite middle-distance running.
