Scott Huffman is a retired American pole vaulter born on November 30, 1964, in Quinter, Kansas. Despite his small stature of 174 cm, he set an American record of 5.97 metres in 1994 and competed at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.

Huffman won the American national championships in 1993, 1994, and 1995, and had a successful NCAA career at the University of Kansas. His 1994 American record ranked him third in the world that season. He was one of the fastest vaulters in history, clocking 10.0 metres per second on the runway, a speed matched only by world record holder Sergey Bubka.

Huffman is notable for his occasional use of a one-legged straddle technique to clear the bar, commonly called "The Huffman Roll." His combination of exceptional speed and technical innovation made him one of America's most distinctive pole vaulters.
