Nathan Leeper is a retired American high jumper born on June 13, 1977, in Greensburg, Kansas. Representing the Kansas State Wildcats, he won the 1998 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the high jump, establishing himself as one of America's premier collegiate jumpers.

Leeper competed at the highest levels of international athletics throughout his career. He finished eleventh at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, fourth at the 2001 World Indoor Championships, and seventh at the 2002 World Cup. His personal best of 2.35 metres, achieved in May 2000 in Sacramento, demonstrated his world-class ability in the event.

Following his competitive career, Leeper transitioned into coaching, serving as the high jump coach at Patrick Henry High School in San Diego, California. His combination of NCAA championship success and Olympic experience made him well-equipped to guide the next generation of American high jumpers.
