Kerron Stephon Clement is a Trinidadian-born American track and field athlete born on October 31, 1985, in Port of Spain. Standing 188 cm tall and weighing 86 kg, he won Olympic gold in the 400m hurdles at the 2016 Rio Games.
Clement held the indoor 400m world record after breaking Michael Johnson's mark in 2005. He won World Championship gold in the hurdles in 2007 and 2009, and silver at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. He is a two-time world champion and Olympic gold medalist in the 4x400m relay. As a Florida Gator, he won back-to-back NCAA titles in 2004/2005.
His versatility in both the flat 400m and hurdles, combined with his relay excellence, has made him one of the most decorated American quarter-milers of his generation.
