James Stallworth is a retired American long jumper born on April 29, 1971, in Tulare, California. He holds the NFHS High School Record in the long jump with 8.04 metres, set at the CIF California State Championships on June 3, 1989.

Stallworth attended Tulare Union High School, the same school as Olympic decathlon champions Bob Mathias and discus gold medalist Sim Iness. He won the 1990 World Junior Championships with a qualifying round best of 8.20 metres and also claimed bronze in the 200 metres. He was the 1990 USATF Junior Champion with a meet record 8.17 metres.

In 1991, he placed second behind Mike Powell at the United States Olympic Festival. After a nine-year absence, Stallworth returned in 2000, achieving 7.93 metres but missing the Olympic team. As of 2017, he was working as a warehouse worker at a Rescue Mission.
