Claudia Losch, born on January 10, 1960, is a retired German shot putter who became the 1984 Olympic Champion. She was one of the most dominant shot putters in West German athletics during the 1980s, winning the German outdoor championship nine consecutive times from 1982 to 1990.

Losch also won the 1989 World Indoor Championship title and captured three European Indoor Championship gold medals. She won five German indoor titles in 1983, 1984, 1987, 1988, and 1989.

At the 1988 Olympic Games, she finished fifth. Shortly after the 1984 Olympics, she competed in the shot put at the Friendship Games in Prague, an event held for athletes from Communist countries that boycotted those Olympics, though she was unable to replicate her Olympic success there.
