Thomas Röhler

Thomas Röhler is a German track and field athlete born on 30 September 1991 in Jena, Germany. He specializes in the javelin throw and has been one of the leading figures in the event during the 2010s.

Röhler reached the pinnacle of his sport at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, where he won the gold medal in the javelin throw. He added another major title to his collection by winning the 2018 European Championships. His personal best throw of 93.90 metres ranks him third on the all-time list for the event, placing him among an elite group of javelin throwers who have surpassed the 93-metre mark.
