Jennifer Lynn Suhr is an American former pole vaulter, born on February 5, 1982, in Fredonia, United States. She has been ranked number one in the world and has been the top American pole vaulter since 2006, establishing herself as one of the most dominant figures in the history of the event.

Suhr won a silver medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics after setting an American record of 4.92 metres at the U.S. Olympic Trials, and she followed that with a gold medal at the 2012 London Olympics. She has also been a World Champion and has accumulated a remarkable total of 17 U.S. National Championship titles, comprising seven indoor and ten outdoor crowns. Track and Field News named her American Female Athlete of the Year for 2008.

Suhr holds the world indoor pole vault record at 5.03 metres, as well as the American women's indoor pole vault record. Her sustained dominance across nearly two decades of competition, combined with her Olympic gold and world record, firmly place her among the all-time greats of women's pole vaulting.
