
Jarrin Solomon
Jarrin Solomon is a Trinidadian track and field sprinter born on January 11, 1986, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, who specializes in the 400 metres. His father, Mike Solomon, is from Trinidad and was also a 400m sprinter.
Solomon has been a key member of Trinidad and Tobago's successful 4x400 metres relay teams, winning bronze medals at the 2012 IAAF World Indoor Championships, the 2012 London Olympics, and the 2014 Commonwealth Games. He attended La Cueva High School and the University of New Mexico before representing Trinidad and Tobago internationally.
His personal best in the 400 metres is 44.98 seconds, set in 2014. In the summer of 2018, Solomon diversified into flag football, playing as a flex player for Godspeed in the American Flag Football League, where his team won the professional championship before losing to the amateur champions in the overall final.
