Inessa Kravets

Inessa Mykolayivna Kravets is a Ukrainian former triple jumper and long jumper. Born on 5 October 1966 in Dnipro, Ukraine, she emerged as one of the most prominent female triple jumpers of her era and left an indelible mark on the event through her record-breaking performances.

Kravets held the world record in the women's triple jump for over 25 years, one of the most durable records in the history of women's athletics. Her mark stood as the standard of excellence in the event until the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, when Venezuelan jumper Yulimar Rojas finally surpassed it. The extraordinary longevity of her record speaks to the exceptional quality of her performance.
