Grant Holloway

Grant Holloway, born on November 19, 1997 in Chesapeake, Virginia, is an American hurdler and sprinter who has established himself as one of the greatest sprint hurdlers in history. He is the 2024 Paris Olympic gold medallist in the 110 metres hurdles and the second-fastest man ever in the event, with a personal best of 12.81 seconds.

Holloway is a three-time world champion in the 110 m hurdles (2019, 2022, and 2023) and a three-time world indoor champion in the 60 m hurdles (2022, 2024, and 2025). He holds the world indoor record of 7.27 seconds in the 60 m hurdles and has not lost an indoor sprint hurdles race since March 2014.

While competing for the University of Florida, Holloway demonstrated exceptional versatility by also contesting the 300 m, relays, and long jump. His contributions were central to Florida's strong team performances at the NCAA Championships, where the team won three titles and finished second in the other three across the six championships he competed in between 2017 and 2018.
