Christopher Taylor is a Jamaican 400 metres runner born on October 1, 1999, in Spanish Town. He burst onto the scene as a youth athlete, winning the 400 metres at the 2015 World Youth Championships in 45.27 seconds, a Jamaica Youth Record.

Taylor won the 2015 CARIFTA Games U18 400 metres in a championship record time of 46.64. At the 2016 ISSA High School Championships, he delivered an extraordinary performance, breaking national records and helping Calabar High School to their seventh consecutive victory. He won the 2018 Jamaica Senior National Championships with a personal best and national junior record of 44.88 seconds. He also won 400 metres hurdles silver and relay golds at the 2021 NACAC U23 Championships.

As a former World Youth champion and national senior champion, Taylor represents Jamaica's rich tradition of 400 metres excellence. His progression from youth record-breaker to senior national champion demonstrates his development into an elite one-lap runner.
