
Rohsaan Griffin
Rohsaan Griffin is a retired American sprinter born on February 21, 1974, in Texas City, Texas. He specialized in the 200 metres and set an American indoor record in the event.
Griffin finished fifth at the 1997 World Indoor Championships and sixth at the 1999 World Indoor Championships. He was the U.S. Indoor champion in both 1997 and 1999. In 1999, he set an American indoor record of 20.32 seconds in the 200 metres. His personal best outdoors was 20.13 seconds, achieved in July 1999 in Saint-Denis, and he also ran 10.36 seconds in the 100 metres.
Griffin competed collegiately at Louisiana State University, developing into one of America's top indoor sprinters. His American record and multiple World Indoor Championship appearances establish him as a significant figure in American sprinting history.
