Peter Matthews

Peter Matthews is a Ireland middle-distance runner, born on November 17, 1969. He competes primarily in the 1500m, 3000m and 5000m.

His personal bests include 4:01.12 in the 1500m, 7:58.42 in the 3000m, 13:47.18 in the 5000m, 28:27.32 in the 10000m and 2:34:40 in the Marathon. He has earned 1 gold medal in major international competitions. He is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Ireland.
