
Olga Bondarenko
Olga Petrovna Bondarenko is a retired Russian track and field athlete who competed mainly in the 10,000 metres.
She trained at the Armed Forces sports society in Volgograd and represented the Soviet Union internationally.
She competed for the Soviet Union at the 1988 Summer Olympics held in Seoul, South Korea, where she won the gold medal in the first Olympic women's 10,000 metres event, setting a new Olympic record with a time of 31:05.21. Their athletic achievements and dedication to the sport have made them a notable figure in track and field history.
