Norbert Kobielski

Norbert Kobielski is a Polish high jumper born on January 28, 1997, in Inowroclaw. He won a bronze medal at the 2019 European U23 Championships and has personal bests of 2.33 metres outdoors and 2.29 metres indoors.

Kobielski's career took a significant turn when he was suspended in July 2024 and subsequently issued a two-year ban by the Athletics Integrity Unit for an anti-doping rule violation after testing positive for pentedrone at an event in Poland. The ban is set to end in July 2026.

All of Kobielski's results after May 26, 2024, including his sixth-place finish at the European Championships, were disqualified as a consequence of the violation. His case serves as a reminder of the strict anti-doping measures in athletics.
