Nikolay Afanasyev

Nikolay Afanasyev is a Russia sprinter, born on August 11, 1965. He competes primarily in the 100m, 400m and 1500m.

His personal bests include 11.00 in the 100m, 49.15 in the 400m, 4:26.51 in the 1500m, 14.36 in the 110mH and 2.09 in the HJ. He has earned 3 gold medals in major international competitions. He is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Russia.
