Kip Janvrin

Kip Janvrin is an American former decathlete born on July 8, 1965, in Guthrie Center, Iowa. A native of Panora, Iowa, he competed in the demanding ten-event combined event during his athletic career.

Janvrin developed his multi-event skills through years of training in the decathlon, which tests athletes across ten different disciplines over two days. His experience in the combined events provided comprehensive knowledge of track and field.

He is now the Co-Head Track and Field Coach at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Missouri. His transition from decathlete to collegiate coach allows him to share his expertise across multiple events with the next generation of athletes.
