
Kevin Mcmahon
Kevin McMahon is a retired American hammer thrower born on May 26, 1972. He graduated from Georgetown University in 1994 with a degree in English and Fine Arts and went on to represent the United States at two consecutive Summer Olympics, beginning in 1996.
McMahon was a two-time USA Champion in the hammer throw, winning national titles in 1997 and 2001. He also claimed the silver medal at the 1999 Pan American Games in Winnipeg, Manitoba. His international career spanned multiple championship competitions at both the Olympic and continental levels.
Following his competitive career, McMahon became a member of the Faculty of Fine Arts at his alma mater, Bellarmine College Preparatory. He is also a member of Art of the Olympians, an organization bringing together Olympic athletes who are also accomplished artists, reflecting his dual passions for athletics and the arts.
