Jerome Young is an American former sprinter born on August 14, 1976, in Clarendon Parish, Jamaica. He specialized in the 400-metre dash but had his career overshadowed by doping violations that led to a lifetime ban from the sport.

Young won gold medals with the United States 4x400 metre relay team at the 1997 and 2001 World Championships. He also contributed as a heats runner to the relay gold at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. However, all these medals were stripped due to doping violations.

His lifetime ban resulted from repeated doping offenses, with sanctions applied retroactively that affected multiple teammates' medal counts. Young's case remains one of the most significant doping scandals in American sprinting history.
