Gabby Thomas is an American sprinter, born on December 7, 1996, in Atlanta, Georgia, and raised in Massachusetts.
She specializes in the 100 and 200 metres and is the 2024 Olympic champion in the 200 metres. A Harvard University graduate, Thomas also holds a master of public health degree in epidemiology.
At the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, Thomas won three gold medals: individually in the 200 metres, and as part of Team USA in both the 4x100 metres relay and the 4x400 metres relay, with the latter setting an American record and the second-fastest time ever. She previously won bronze in the 200 metres and silver in the 4x100 metres relay at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, and claimed 200 metres silver and 4x100 metres relay gold at the 2023 World Championships in Budapest.
