Faith Cherotich is a Kenyan track and field athlete born on July 13, 2004, in Kenya. She specializes in the 3,000 metres steeplechase, an event in which Kenya has a proud tradition of producing world-class competitors.
Cherotich emerged as a promising young talent in the steeplechase, representing Kenya on the international stage. As one of the youngest athletes competing at the elite level of the event, she has shown the potential to follow in the footsteps of Kenya's long line of distinguished steeplechasers.
Still a teenager when she first made her mark, Cherotich's youth and talent position her as an athlete to watch in the coming years. Her early entry into international competition suggests a long career ahead in an event that demands both endurance and technical skill over barriers and water jumps.
