
Damian Warner
Damian Warner is a Canadian decathlete and the 2020 Olympic champion in the event. His Olympic-winning score of 9,018 points is the fourth highest in decathlon history and set records for the Olympic Games, Pan American Games, and Canada.
Warner is a four-time World Championship medallist, winning silver in 2015 and 2023 and bronze in 2013 and 2019. He also claimed bronze at the 2016 Olympics, won the 2014 Commonwealth title, and earned two Pan American Games gold medals in 2015 and 2019. In the indoor heptathlon, he is the 2022 World Indoor champion.
Known for his exceptional speed among decathletes, Warner holds decathlon bests in the 100 m (10.12 seconds) and 110 m hurdles (13.27 seconds) and formerly held the decathlon best in the long jump at 8.28 m.
